I Suck At This

I have spent my life trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up. I am 55, still confused, searching for who I want to become. I think I am afraid to decide who I will be. I never had dreams of becoming anything. Other friends wanted to be doctors, teachers, housewives, mechanics, actors, singers, sports figures. I did not. I only dreamed that whatever I became it would allow me the freedom to do good things.
