Treading Stagnant Water

Mom had a doctor’s appointment today. She refused to go. She had a long list of excuses for not going. She is tired.. She just didn’t feel up to going. She hates doctors. She is sick of going to doctors. She hasn’t had a shower in two weeks. On and on and on the agrument went. She isn’t going to see the doctor today because I can’t force her to go. The doctor is five minutes from our home and yet she can’t bring herself to go.
